- Review of Bold City Heating & Air in Jacksonville FL by Allen Walker: WE STARTED OUT FINE UNTIL THE OWNER WANTED TO EDUCATE ME IN ECONOMICS. ~~~~not all customers are oblivious~~~~ After escalating my call through the on sight tech which has no clue how this business operates or charges it’s fees. I spoke to a receptionist that routed my complaint to the owner. After speaking with the owner that; I had a valid question on the billing breakdown. I realized they are all on the same page when it comes to ripping off customers. They were very content on charging 2500 for a compressor replacement. But not one of these employees or the owner could tell me the cost of the part, the cost of labor, just that it’s the cost of doing business?! What? I don’t need a lesson on how a business creates cash flow. (I need to know if your inflated estimate is justified.) •order part ? •evacuate refrigerant ? •install part: 4 bolts & few wires. ? •charge the recovered refrigerant back ? •test and operate ? •labor ? Mr. Business owner you know that’s really all it is for this task. You can’t rip off customers just to cover your losses. 2500 is robbery. I’ll gladly pay your 115 inspection fee to never do business with you and for as long as I am alive spread the word on your phenomenal way of writing estimates and taking advantage of customers. His last copyright were: people don’t understand how businesses work. My last copyright last copyright: your business sucks. Best 115 I’ve ever spent.
